MINUTES
Cabinet minutes of June 9, 2009
were approved.
PRESIDENT
2009-2010 Commonwealth Budget – A Release dated June
11, 2009
reported that a 2008-09 year-end revenue shortfall of $3.2 billion is
expected. Secretary Soderberg also noted
that estimates
for 2009-10 revenue have also been revised downward, with no growth
expected in
2009-10 revenues over 2008-09.
Workplace Safety Committee – The PA Department of Labor
and
Industry has certified Lincoln
University’s
safety
Committee effective June 29, 2009. This
certification entitles the University to receive a 5% discount in its
workers’
compensation rates, effective with the policy renewal period following
the
certification date.
FISCAL AFFAIRS
Moody’s Investors Service – The Analyst Adjusted-Issuer
Summary gave
Lincoln University a “stable” fiscal
stability ranking
as of June 20, 2008. The Report
indicated also that the University is “not on watch” with this service.
DEVELOPMENT AND EXTERNAL RELATIONS
New University bus - Dr. Brevett reported that Lincoln University’s
new 41-passenger bus will be delivered to the campus on Thursday, June
18.
Title III – Title III Budget Information was shared
with the
Cabinet.
STUDENT AFFAIRS AND ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT
