President's Cabinet Meeting
June 16, 2003

Minutes of the June 2, 2003 Cabinet Meeting were approved.

Top 100 Baccalaureate Degrees, 2001-2002 Black Issues in Higher Education (June 5, 2003) reported that in 2002 Lincoln University ranked #4 in the nation in graduating African Americans with baccalaureate degrees in the Physical Sciences. Lincoln University also ranked in the top 2% of institutions graduating African Americans with baccalaureate degrees in Education.

Zoning Application Lower Oxford Township has scheduled a meeting July 2, 2003 at 7:00 PM to consider Lincoln University's Proposed Final Land Development Plan for the construction of the new student dorm. Members of the Cabinet will accompany the Director of Physical Plant at the hearing.

Requirements to walk in Commencement Under the University's new policy "a student may be allowed to walk, but not graduate, with one course (a one credit hour course to a sex credit hour course) short of the required courses for graduation. The old policy permitted students to walk, but not graduate, with two courses short of the requirements for graduation.
