MINUTES
May 19, 2009 Cabinet minutes were
approved.
PHYSICAL PLANT
·
DGS Project No.
1101-41 (Science
Building).
DGS agreed to provide additional distilled water access,
additional electric
and piping in labs, and upgrade flooring on first, second, and third
floors. Scheduled move: Early to mid-July
2009.
·
DGS
Project No. 1101-42 (ICC). DGS agreed to provide an additional
fifty (50)
parking spaces, an outdoor patio, and grade the front lot along
Baltimore
Pike. Scheduled move: Summer 2009.
·
DGS
Project No. 1101-47 (Wellness Center).
Project began.
·
Phase II
Generators. President Nelson will
again try to reach Secretary Creedon for list of DGS funds available to
Lincoln
to complete this
project.
·
Summer
Painting Schedule. Mr. Thompson is
waiting for the RFP.
PRESIDENT
·
SAEM
Directors’ Meeting Minutes. President Nelson commended Dr. Bynum
and the
SAEM staff on their accomplishments and requested SAEM to implement a
newsletter highlighting their activities.
ACADEMIC
AFFAIRS
·
Centers
of Excellence. President Nelson requested a report from the Deans
on FY10 scholarships
for the University’s Centers of Excellence.
·
MHS/BHS
Programs. President Nelson requested
a proposal on the MHS/BHS Programs from the Deans by September 2009 to
present
to the faculty. Dean Ross requested to
be involved in the discussions regarding undergraduate/graduate
financial aid eligibility.
DEVELOPMENT AND EXTERNAL
RELATIONS

Graduate Center. Furniture,
equipment, maintenance and
staffing needs at the Graduate
Center were
discussed.
FISCAL AFFAIRS
·
2009-10
Budget. Attendees discussed in detail the University’s staffing
needs and
salary budget.
