Cabinet minutes of May 8, 2007 were approved.
MSA CHE Accreditation
Review Scheduled
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education evaluation
team visit has been scheduled for Sunday, April 13, 2008 through
Wednesday,
April 16, 2008. The team chair, Dr.
Thelma Thompson, will make her preliminary visit to Lincoln September 23-24, 2007.
Fiscal Affairs
Cabinet approved the policy on “Donation of Assets to
Outside Organizations/Individuals.”
The 2007-2008 draft budgets will be distributed to the vice
presidents for review next week.
Additional reductions in expenses and/or increases in revenues
are
needed in order to reach a balanced budget.
Academic Affairs
Dean Chikwem provided an update on the LEAPS program and
Dean Thomas briefed the Cabinet concerning the summer Law &
Transportation
programs.
