2001-2002 Operating Budget - Refinement of the budget continues. The administration expects to present a proposed budget to the Business Affairs Committee of the Board of Trustees in early June.
A-133 Audit for period June 30, 1997 through June 30, 1998 - The University is in receipt of the U.S. Department of Education's program determination letter (PDL) for the findings concerning Title III and Upward Bound, cited in the audit report. No further action on any of the reported findings is required of the University. However, the Department has requested that in the next audit, the auditors review two findings for compliance.
Internal Capital Projects - The Physical Plant office has compiled a substantial list of internal capital projects, which must be completed. The office has been instructed to prioritize the list, indicating those projects which must be completed in the summer of 2001. Barring an emergency, the prioritized list will constitute the work order for the department over the summer.
Technology - Implementation of the POISE upgrade continues. The project will be implemented in three separate stages: (1) admissions and alumni/development, (2) registration, billing and housing, and (3) financial aid.
The next stages in the SAP project are curriculum development and formation of a lab in Dickey Hall.
