2006-2007 Proposed Budgets
President Nelson presented a detail summary of the proposed 2006-2007
salary budgets that had been submitted thus far to Human Resources.
The academic vice president and deans expressed concern that the numbers
presented in the report did not accurately reflect their plans for the coming
year. The office of Human Resources will meet with persons in the academic
area to resolve any discrepancies noted in the employee rosters maintained
by Human Resources.

2006-2007 budget to the Cabinet. Academic Affairs also presented an
update on its budget development.
Early Retirement Proposal
The administration has looked into the possibility of offering early retirement
to members of the faculty. After review of several options, it has
been determined that it is not cost effective to implement such a policy
at this time.
Lincoln University Press
Deans Thomas and Willis were asked to further review the draft Charter presented
to the Cabinet and develop a comprehensive Charter for implementation.
Middle States Self-Study Review
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education has accepted Lincoln University’s

for other institutions.” Lincoln University’s accreditation evaluation
