VICE PRESIDENTS' REPORTS/ACTION
Fiscal Affairs
The first draft of the 2001/2002 operating budget came in at $3,318,913
above the 2000/2001 operating budget. Major areas of increase include
the effect of collectively bargained raises, benefits as a percentage of
salaries, and requests for new positions. The Vice Presidents have been
asked to carefully review each budget submission to see where possible
cuts can be made without hindering program objectives and office operations.
Revised budgets should be submitted to the budget office by March 30, 2001.
