President’s Cabinet Meeting
March 21, 2005

Attendees: President Ivory V. Nelson, Vice President Michael
B. Hill, Vice President William B. Bynum, Vice President Grand D. Venerable,
Ms. Melvie Hall-Bellinger, Dean Gladys J. Willis, Dean John O. Chikwem, Dean
Judith A.W. Thomas and Ms. Diane M. Brown. Also in attendance:
NAFEO Kellogg Leadership Fellow Dr. Kenoye Eke, Provost and Vice President
of Academic and Student Affairs, Cheyney University.
Cabinet meeting minutes of March 15, 2005 were approved.
Campus Revitalization
The Office of Development was asked to work with the President’s Office to
enhance the main student entryway to the Living-Learning Center to make it
more attractive to our students and guests.
Food Service
Vice President Bynum was asked to look at certain aspects of the Sodexho
Dining services, which have not met expectations.
University Travel Policy
Ms. Brown was asked to look at how the University might revise its Travel
Policy to allow more flexibility and increase chances of securing the best
prices available for travel itineraries.
