Gladys J. Willis, Dean Judith A.W. Thomas, and Ms. Diane M. Brown. Mr. John
Thompson was in attendance for a portion of the meeting.
MINUTES
Cabinet meeting minutes of February 22, 2011 were approved.
PHYSICAL PLANT
Mr. Thompson provided the following status of DGS
capital projects.
- Project
1101-28 (Emergency Generation) - Phase III
of this project is in design.

Project 1101-32 (Vail Hall) - 66% complete with no delays at
this point.

Projects
1101-39 (Grimm) 1101-43 (Wright) and 1101-44 (Library)
Grimm Hall: 42% complete.
Wright Hall: Behind schedule - 65%
complete.
Library: On schedule - 65%
complete.
- Projects
1101-45 (Landscape) and 1101-46 (Athletics - The
project is reported to be at 7% for 1101- 45 & 9% for 1101- 46.

Project
1101-47 (Wellness Center) - Weather
delays have been recorded. The project is 37 % complete.

Project
1101-48 (John Miller Dickey Hall Renovation) - The
project is in contract agreement phase at the State level.

Residence
Life staff have been consulted regarding summer work priorities. The proposed plan for summer work will be
submitted to the Cabinet for approval.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
·
Standard 14 Requirements - Cabinet members discussed
the current status in the process to meet Standard 14: Student Learning Assessment.
·
White
House Federal Budget – FY 2011-12 – President Nelson provided Cabinet members
with information on items impacting Lincoln University.

meeting at 11:20 a.m.
