President’s Cabinet Meeting
February 28, 2005
Attendees: President Ivory V. Nelson, Vice President Michael
B. Hill, Vice President Howard E. Merlin, Vice President William B. Bynum,
Dean Judith A.W. Thomas and Ms. Diane M. Brown.
Minutes of February 21, 2005 Cabinet meeting were approved.
Governor’s 2005-2006 Capital Budget
The Governor’s proposed 2005-2006 Capital Budget includes at $13 million
Campus and Grounds Renovation project for Lincoln University. The project
is needed to construct, repave, resurface walkways around campus, improve
entranceways, landscape maintenance and development around the campus and
provide additional parking.
Purchasing Agent Procedure/Coordination with Legal
Cabinet received a draft procedure for the procedure/coordination with legal
for purchases. Further review/discussion with Internal Council is necessary
before procedure is implemented.
Revised Code of Conduct Policy
Cabinet was asked to insure that all employees have returned their signed
forms acknowledging receipt of the new/revised Code of Conduct Policy.
