Vice President William B. Bynum and Ms. Diane M. Brown. Attending
for portion of meeting: George Buchanan, Esq.
Minutes of February 1, 2005 Cabinet meeting were approved.
New Lincoln University Policies
The Cabinet reviewed and approved the following policies, effective March
1, 2005:
- Employment of Relatives
- Leave time pay
New International Cultural Center Building Schedule
The following project schedule has been proposed for the new International
Cultural Center:

Transition period for new Bookstore Contract
Faculty will be asked to develop booklists that will be adhered to for the
Fall 05 and Spring 06 semesters. This “freezing” of the booklist is
being implemented in order to assure that students have the necessary textbooks
available to them during the transition to the new Bookstore contractor.
The Vice President for Academic Affairs will distribute a memorandum to faculty
regarding this requirement.
Comcast Cable and The Philadelphia Tribune Tribute
Comcast Cable and The Philadelphia Tribune have partnered to salute 32 of
the nearly 150 leaders featured in the 2005 Tribune Magazine. President
Nelson is among those leaders whose photos will be featured in a series of
public service announcements that will air on Comcast in the Greater Philadelphia
region during February.
