President’s Cabinet Meeting

Attendees: President Ivory V. Nelson, Vice President William
B. Bynum, Jr., Vice President Michael B. Hill, Vice President Howard E. Merlin,
Vice President Grant D. Venerable II, and Ms. Diane M. Brown.
The Department of General Services has selected architects for two of the
University’s major renovation projects. Susan Maxman & Partner,
Ltd. has been selected for the renovation of Wright Hall classrooms and laboratories
project and Faridy Veisz Fraytak, P.C. was selected for the renovation of
Langston Hughes Memorial Library.
Information Technology Policy
President Nelson presented to the Cabinet a revised version of Lincoln’s
technology equipment. A copy of the policy will be sent to the Director
of Information Technology for review before implementation.
President Nelson stressed to the Cabinet the importance of completing all
necessary documentation for new hires before they begin working at the University.
Failure to do so is a violation of the University’s hiring policy and may
result in a delay in proper entry in the payroll system.
There being no further business, President Nelson adjourned the meeting at
