President’s Cabinet Meeting

Minutes of January 24, 2005 Cabinet meeting were approved.
Contracts with the Federal Government
The indirect cost rate for facilities and administrative costs for grants
and contracts with the Federal Government has been established at 50.0 percent
for the period July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2008. This is up from
49.0 percent for the previous period.
The Sallie Mae Fund
The Sallie Mae Fund is offering more than $2 million in college scholarships
to low-income and minority students for the fall 2005-2006 academic year.
Applications are available at www.salliemaefund.org.
Development and External Relations
Lincoln University will sponsor three separate programs in honor of Black
History Month. The programs will be held in the Mary Dodd Brown Chapel
and will feature Lincoln University faculty members.
Fiscal Affairs
The Bookstore Selection Committee recommended Follett as its overall selection
for the University’s Bookstore Contract. Cabinet approved the recommendation
of the Committee.
