MINUTES
Cabinet minutes of January 12, 2010 were distributed and approved via electronic
communication.
PRESIDENT
2010-2011 Appropriations Hearings:
House – February 23, 2010 @ 1:00 p.m.
Senate – March 3, 2010 @ 10:00 a.m.
NCAA Requirements - President Nelson provided a briefing on NCAA requirements
discussed at the Convention in Atlanta. Division II freshman-eligibility
standards are currently set at 14 core courses, minimum SAT score of 820
or an ACT sum score of 68, and a GPA of 2.000.
Project “Advance to the Top” – Vice presidents Hill and Venerable
provided overviews on priorities, focal points, and strategies they intend
to utilize in order to achieve the goals of AT3.
ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
“Advance to the Top” planning and implementation discussion.
STUDENT AFFAIRS AND ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT
SAEM has applied for a Student Support Services Federal TRIO Grant to support
Lincoln University’s tutoring and counseling programs.
FISCAL AFFAIRS
2010-2011 Budget preparation documents for the various divisions were distributed.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, President Nelson adjourned the meeting at
11:15 p.m.
