Search for Vice President for Academic Affairs The search firm of DHR International has been engaged to conduct the search for the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The January 2002 Faculty meeting has been rescheduled from January 8th to January 15th.
Repair work on the pipes in the Living Learning Center is scheduled to begin today. The repairs were delayed due to the late receipt of the piping. The work will not interrupt the delivery of food services in the building.
Development & External Relations
A total of 102 alumni made contributions to the University during December 2001. This number is up from previous years.
An alum, Phyllis Woolley, '85, former Miss Lincoln, recently made a major pledge to the University. Special note was made regarding the efficient and positive handling by the Admissions office of a student associated with the donor. The offices involvement in this situation had a major impact on the donors decision to contribute.
Student Affairs and Enrollment Management
The top floor of Rendall Hall will be converted to male rooms to accommodate the large number of male students entering in spring 2002.
