Mission Statement
It is clear that science and technology will play a very
crucial role in every aspect of the 21st century life. The Physics department
is dedicated to creating an atmosphere in which full awareness of science
is coupled with the mission to apply science for the good society.
With an excellent track record, in the past, the department of Physics is
forging ahead with the mission of producing ever increasing numbers of minority
graduates in Physics and Engineering.
In the 21st century, Lincoln University will maintain academic excellence
through a non-trivial commitment extending and propagating science and its
applications to technology. The Physics department will play a central role
in bringing excellence in science teaching and research to the School of Natural
Sciences and Mathematics.
