UPDATES FOR FEBRUARY 9, 2004 through FEBRUARY 13, 2004

UPDATES/ROAD/PARKING CLOSURES - the following buildings or parking areas will be affected during the coming week:
  • Work on the fire alarm system will continue all week in:
    • Houston Hall
  • There will be power outages due to electric changeover in the following buildings:
    • February 9, 2004, 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM

    • February 10, 2004
      University Hall, 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM
      Foster Hall, 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM Will have emergency generator
      Building # 33, 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM
    • February 11, 2004
      Buildings 62, 63, 64 and 35, 8:AM - 2:00 PM Will have emergency generators
    • February 12, 2004
      Bond House, 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM
      Building # 15, 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM
    • February 13, 2004
      Education Building, Math Building, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Will have emergency generators
    • February 14, 2004
      Grimm Hall and Ware Center, 8:00 AM - 11:00AM
      Langston Hughes Library, 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
      Wright Hall and Dickey Hall, 12:30PM - 3:30PM
      Cresson, Vail, and Amos Halls, 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM

    PLEASE REMEMBER TO TURN OFF COMPUTERS ETC. PRIOR TO THE SHUTDOWN.


    Walt Konopka, Heery International is the Construction Manager for these projects and Gerry Davis is the Project Administrator for Lincoln University. All questions, problems etc. will be addressed through them to the appropriate contractor. You may contact them through the Office of the Physical Plant at extension 3111. Your cooperation and understanding are appreciated! Remember - these are your tax dollars at work.
