UPDATES FOR THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 15, 2003

SPECIAL NOTICE: Telephone/Data Service will be temporarily affected on Tuesday, December 16, 2003 for the following locations:
  • Lucy Laney
  • Morris Hall
  • Langston Hughes Library
  • Living Learning Center
  • Hansberry Hall

UPDATES/ROAD/PARKING CLOSURE - the following buildings/parking areas will be affected during the coming week:

  • The contractor installing the fire alarm system will be in the following buildings Monday, December 15 - Friday, December 19, 2003 from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM:
    • Hansberry Hall - 12/15/03 through 12/19/03
      Contractor will be working in dorm during Christmas Break. Please remove all valuables in all rooms. They need access to the entire dorm to keep this project moving.
FYI
During Christmas Break, December 22 - 29, 2003, the carpet in the Business Office will be replaced.

Walt Konopka, Heery International is the Construction Manager for these projects and Gerry Davis is the Project Administrator for Lincoln University. All questions, problems etc. will be addressed through them to the appropriate contractor. You may contact them through the Office of the Physical Plant at extension 3111. Your cooperation and understanding are appreciated! Remember - these are your tax dollars at work.
