Visit Lincoln

“Lincoln has given much to us. Lincoln has matured us. Lincoln has shaped us. Don’t ever forget these sacred grounds from which we grew, from which we have been taught. Because despite what we may think, you and we are Lincoln forever.”

—Brandon Harris
2012-13 Lincoln SGA President Pro Tempore
Postgraduate studies at Emory University’s Chandler School of Divinity

There’s no better way to feel the energy…the possibilities...the atmosphere of Lincoln University than to visit.

We invite prospective students and their parents to campus to see for themselves. Some come individually, some visit during an Open House, and others make their way here as part of an HBCU tour.

Current students conduct many of our tours, sharing their first-hand knowledge and experience of life and learning here. They can tell you about some of the nearly 80 student organizations you can join to find others who share your interests and aspirations.

Lincoln University Lion Tours

Request a Tour form

Lion Tours are designed to provide prospective high school students with exposure to Lincoln University. Guests will have an opportunity to interact with our campus family while learning about our academic programs, activities and resources during their visit. The tour route is designed to give the visitors an overall view of the campus in an allotted time frame.

To make an appointment for a Lion Tour, call the Tour Coordinator at 484-365-7275 or contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

The tour generally begins with an information session presented by an Admissions Counselor or a Student Ambassador. During the  information session you will learn about the admission requirements, financial aid, extra-curricular activities and general history about Lincoln University. Following the presentation, there will be a walking tour of the campus conducted by a Tour Guide. The tour and presentation lasts approximately 1 ½ hours.

See for yourself why Lincoln University has been producing leaders for 160 years.

While the Office of Admissions will work to comply with your tour requests, some dates (i.e., weekends, special events, midterm and final week, spring break, holidays, etc.) may be unavailable. If we cannot arrange a visit for your family or group on the date that you request, we will work with you for an alternative date to accommodate you.

Being prompt is encouraged. While we will work to adjust to unexpected circumstances surrounding your arrival, we cannot guarantee the full Lion Tour experience if your family or group does not arrive on your allotted time.

All tour requests must be submitted at least 14 days in advance of your requested tour date. A tour is not considered confirmed until you receive a confirmation from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. If you are interested in making a tour request please contact our tour coordinator directly.
