Agreement Provides Guaranteed Admission and Scholarship to Juris Doctorate and Doctor of Pharmacy Programs
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Interim President Richard Green has signed an agreement with Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, that guarantees Lincoln University students admission to Drake’s School of Law and School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences after meeting certain criteria. Under the agreement, Lincoln University students are guaranteed a partial or full scholarship that is renewable up to three and four years, respectively.
Upon admission and matriculation as a full-time student to the Juris Doctorate degree program, the student will be awarded a scholarship equivalent to 50 percent of tuition. More highly qualified students will be considered for additional scholarship funding, up to full tuition. The award is renewable for the second and third year of law school provided the student is enrolled in at least 10 units in the fall and spring semesters. This opportunity is available as early as summer 2017 and continues until fall 2020.
Students interested in pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, after admission and matriculation as a full-time student in the PharmD program, will be awarded a minimum scholarship in an amount equivalent to $10,000. The scholarship will be renewed in the second, third, and fourth years provided the student meets all program degree requirements for eligibility and prescribed course load each fall and spring semester. The $10,000 is the guaranteed minimum. Qualified students will be considered for additional scholarship funding. This opportunity begins fall 2018 and continues until fall 2020.
Drake University is a mid-sized, private university. Students interested in the Juris Doctorate or Doctor of Pharmacy degrees should contact Career Services or their academic advisor.
