Question Mark
Use a question mark- At the end of a question (a person's direct words)
- What suggestions do you have for our new fundraising drive?
- At the end of an indirect question (reporting in your own words what someone else said)
- I asked what suggestions she had for our new fundraising drive.
Tip: In quotations, the question mark goes inside the quotation marks when it is part of the quotation (that is, when the quoted material is a question itself) and outside the quotation marks when it is not part of the quotation.
He then asked, "Would you agree with that assessment?"
Do you agree with their conclusion that "addiction rates are rising alarmingly"?
