Kristen Anderson

Professor Kristin Anderson is passionate about sharing her 15-year television news career with students. After graduating from Northwestern College, Anderson started her career as a reporter and morning anchor at the ABC affiliate in La Crosse, Wisconsin and then moved on to the ABC affiliate in Green Bay, where she reported on the Packers every Sunday and covered medical news during the week. Two years later, Anderson moved to Omaha, Nebraska to join her husband, John, who anchored the evening newscasts at the CBS affiliate. The TV couple, as the community called them, later moved to Cleveland, Ohio where they anchored the morning newscast together. In 2004, Kristin and her husband had twins, Luke and Gracie. By 2008, John became the morning news anchor at FOX 29 while Kristin freelanced as a reporter. Kristin later taught as an adjunct professor at West Chester University while completing her master's degree. She wrote her thesis on the working partnership of the media and law enforcement though a program called Fugitive Safe Surrender.
