Angela Cirucci

Angela Cirucci is the radio professor in the Mass Communications Center of Excellence. She teaches Radio Production and Programming and the WWLU 88.7 FM practicum. Cirucci is also a graduate student and teaching assistant at Temple University, where she is currently writing her thesis for the Spring 2011 completion of her Master's degree in Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media. She received her Bachelor's degree in Radio, Television and Film from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, where she was the Public Affairs Director for Rowan Radio, 89.7 WGLS-FM. Cirucci has worked both on-air and behind the scenes for radio stations in the South Jersey and Philadelphia area. Her research is primarily focused on social media and its effects on teens regarding their identities and relationships. She plans to continue teaching at the university level and eventually go on to receive her Ph.D.
