United States Senator Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) today presents a $100,000 check from the U.S. Department of Education for the enhancement of science equipment at Lincoln University. Langley, chair, Chemistry Department, and director of the Lincoln Aerospace and Engineering Recruitment (LASER) program; and Michael B. Hill, vice president for Development and External Relations. Lincoln is nationally recognized as a major producer of African Americans with undergraduate degrees in the physical sciences (biology, chemistry, and physics); computer and information sciences; biological and life sciences.
