Welcome
to the Office of Minority Male Health
Hello and welcome
to the Office of Minority Male Health. Over the years, minority males have been
diagnosed with more serious health issues during their middle age than the general
population. Their life expectancy is seven years less than the average white male’s
because many lack health insurance, disregard health care, and/or lack awareness.
The reasons for these health issues often begin in the early years of a minority
male’s life. Navigate through the links to gain more knowledge about the common
illnesses that minority males encounter, and their causes and prevention.
