Registering and Requesting Material
Material from Special Collections/Rare Books/Archives does not circulate and must be consulted in the Reading Room, Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by contacting the Library Services Access Coordinator or Program Assistant a 484-365-7366.
Readers must complete a registration form on their first visit if you are not a faculty or staff member at Lincoln University.
Readers must sign the register daily and present valid photo-identification.
Books and other printed material must be requested using the "Printed Materials Request" form.
Readers who wish to use manuscript materials must complete the "Application for Permission to Use Manuscripts." All manuscript users must complete the application form.
Readers may place material on "Hold" if planning to make return visits and repeated use of the material within the week.
Special permission may be required for access to restricted or unprocessed collections.
Some Special Collections material may be temporarily unavailable due to exhibition loans, conservation treatment, etc. Off-campus visitors may want to ensure availability with advance requests.
