Unbalanced Internet Traffic Problem - Main Campus

2/26/03 Problem (view history ): Inbound T1 traffic is unbalanced since Network Address Translation (NAT) was begun. The single NAT address advertised has a preferred inbound route. As a result, all traffic for NATed workstations arrives through one T1, leaving the other underutilized.

Current strategy calls for NAT to be split across two halves of a /23 address space, each of which is preferred by a different inbound route.
