Lincoln University moved to centrally-controlled virus protection in the fall of 2002, using the
SmartSuite products from
Trend Micro
Inc.
SmartSuite handles viruses in mail coming in from the Internet, on workstations, on servers, and in MS Exchange accounts.
To keep up to date in virus protection, you must periodically log out of your network account. When you log back in, a script runs to bring your copy of the virus programs and definitions up to current levels.
