Resources for Faculty
Technology-Enhanced
Classrooms (TEC's)
We have created several new classrooms and auditoriums with access to
technology for use during classes. Each room has a video/data projector, electric screen, sound, and touch panel
controls. Auditoriums also have permanently installed DVD player, VCR,
amplifier, two VGA jacks for laptops, and microphone jacks. The Dickey Hall classrooms
have jacks on the wall for plugging in DVD player, VCR, and one VGA jack for a
laptop. We will give you instructions on how to use the new equipment.
Faculty
Technology Mentors
The two Faculty Technology Mentors, Zoran Milovanovich
and Frank Worts, will provide help and support to faculty in creating and using
technology-based materials. You can contact them through the ATS, ext. 7355.

four workstations, two scanners, a document camera for faculty technology development.
The lab is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday
through Friday.
Technology
Information Resources
ATS has gathered a variety of technology resources in ATS
and links to web-based resources in a collection
of journals, catalogs, articles, manuals, instructional tapes and CDs and other
media to assist faculty in better using technology in their classroom instruction
and for professional development.
As faculty,
you are welcome to look through the resources, check something out and talk with
the Director about instructional problems which may be solved with technology.
