How to Use Multi-Media Cart

How to Use Laptop, Projector &/or Sound (request and pick up fro ATS, Request Form)


Connect laptop and projector with VGA cable

If you need sound, request VGA with audio

Laptop and projector connection looks
like this:

Attach power supplies and turn on. Toggle between projection screens using function key and F-key marked "CRT-LCD" or a monitor icon.

CRT-LCD key may be located in different places in F-key row.

How to Use Multimedia Cart (located in all academic departments)


All components are connected and have power. Please do not remove or re-wire.

Components:
Computer
Projector
DVD Player & VCR
Speakers

Open back, remove projector and set on top of cart.
Plug in one power cord for all components.

Top of Cart (L to R)
External power (rarely needed)
Power On/Off
Audio for Laptop
Ethernet for laptop
VGA for laptop
VGA for additional projector (rarely used)
Select Button for desktop computer or laptop
Volume control


Turn power on.
Select component on top of cart; adjust volume.
Connect laptop to VGA cable.
