INFORMATION

PROGRAM
The Lincoln University Lions Baseball Team is turning the corner under 3rd year Head Coach Paul K. Johnson! The 2004 season had 2 Pre-Season All-Americans (DeBeary & Sample), broke the LU single-season record for overall wins (according to NCAA.org), ranked 31 out of 321 NCAA III schools in team batting average, and a player ranked #14 in sacrifice hits/game (Cianferano). The team will focus on learning baseball fundamentals allowing the team to have a productive offense, sharp defense, and a pitching staff that challenges hitters.

The Lions Baseball Team, as well as all other Lincoln University athletic teams, is a member of the NCAA Division III. The team recently accepted a bid to participate in a new start-up conference named the Eastern States Baseball Conference. In addition the schedule is comprised mainly of competition from various educational institutions in the Mid-Atlantic region. The school colors are orange & blue. The school mascot is a lion.
