Course Background
On 4th April 2006, the Lincoln University Faculty voted to accept the recommendation of the Joint Committees of Educational Policies and Curriculum
to establish the First Year Experience course (FYE 101). The FYE
Advisory Committee* convened during the summer of 2006 to review
the faculty
charges and determine the design as well as the implementation of FYE
101. All FYE courses will be based on common characteristics, share the same purpose and will be designed to accomplish the same goals.
