First Year Experience (FYE)

FYE Course Description

Each First Year Experience (FYE) course is designed to address the challenges an incoming student may face. A First Year Experience course, thus, treats of the following: social and academic skill development, the Lincoln tradition, the meaning of liberal arts, attending lectures, attending recitals and convocations offered throughout the semester as basis for class discussions, library research and computer literacy, writing, speaking, and critical thinking. Students transferring to Lincoln University with one or more years of transferable college credit do not have to enroll in a First Year Experience course.
