Entrepreneurship Mentor Tehma Hallie
Tehma Hallie is a 2000 graduate of Lincoln University where she majored in Physics and minored in Mathematics and Computer Science. While at Lincoln, she was inducted into numerous national honor societies, served as treasurer of the Student Government Association, and played NCAA basketball. During her collegiate basketball tenure, she scored over 1,500 points to become the first female athlete in the school's history to have her number (#12) retired.
Upon graduating from Lincoln University, Tehma accepted an engineering position at Lockheed Martin. She continued her education at Pennsylvania State University where she earned a Master's Degree in Information Science, and a MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and New Ventures. In May 2008, Tehma completed her pursuit of a Law Degree from Temple University where she focused on corporate law with an emphasis on sports and entertainment. Tehma is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington DC.
In 2005, Tehma established Invested Management, Inc. which is a full-spectrum corporate and professional business development and management company. As president of Invested Management, Inc., Tehma has assisted and worked with various professional athletes, entertainers, and sports related organizations. She is frequently sought out to participate in various leadership, career, and sports and entertainment oriented workshops and conferences. In the Lincoln University community, Tehma has served on the Board of Trustees (2007-2011). On campus, she has established the "#12 Endowment Fund" and the "#12 Restricted Fund" for the Lincoln University Lady Lion's basketball team. These funds financially assist both the athletic program as well as individual scholar-athletes. Tehma also sponsors the annual double header "Alumni Basketball Game" where past and present male and female Lincoln University students have an opportunity to come together for fellowship, mentoring, encouragement, and fun.
