Mr. Washington has over 35 years experience in Information Technology, including as IT executive, IT strategist, consultant, and project manager.

He received his Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina Central University in Durham North Carolina and his Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Nova SouthEastern University in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Professor Washington is a full time Assistant Professor in the Department of Business and Entrepreneurial Studies. He teaches courses in Enterprise Resource Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Project Management, E-Commerce and a host of other courses. Professor Washington places special emphasize on the infusion of SAP (a Enterprise Resource Planning application used to run the businesses of many of the Fortune 1000 Companies).

Prior experience includes Director of Information Technology for Ciba-Geigy Corporation, Director of Information Technology for the City of Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation, Manager Sales and Marketing, Manager e-Commerce, and Manager of Project Management Office at Rohm and Haas Corporation.

Community activities include Cub Scouts, Steward and Treasurer of the Steward Board at Bethel AME Church, Wilmington, DE, Volunteer at Newark High School, and North Carolina Central University Alumni Association.
