WHEREAS, Article V, Section 11, of the Lincoln University By-laws sets forth the functions of the Committee on Trustees, Degrees, and Nominations; and
WHEREAS, The Committee on Trustees, Degrees, and Nominations has made a recommendation to award an honorary degree at the May 2011 Commencement exercises; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the Board of Trustees hereby approves the recommendation of the Committee on Trustees, Degrees, and Nominations for the award of Doctor of Science, honoris causa, to Patricia A. Nelson.
