RESOLUTION 295

RECOGNITION OF TEACHER SCHOLAR MS. BROOKE WOMACK |
WHEREAS, Ms. Brooke Womack, a Lincoln University junior from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, has been selected as a 2007-08 Siemens Teacher Scholar; and
WHEREAS, Students selected for this scholarship have excellent scholastic aptitude and have expressed an interest in teaching math, science and/or technology when they graduate from a member school of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund or the United Negro College Fund; and
WHEREAS, This year, Siemens Teacher Scholars also took part in a Siemens Science Day, a unique program that enabled them to lead science experiments for elementary school students and experience the joys of teaching; and
WHEREAS, The 2007-08 Siemens Teacher Scholars will be recognized in the Spring 2008 issue of Teachers of Color magazine; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the Lincoln University Board of Trustees recognizes the outstanding efforts and accomplishments of Ms. Brooke Womack, whose achievements continue to promote and advance the
