Business Club
The Business Club is a student-operated under the rules and regulations of the Office of Student Activities. Club members initiate and carry out their own activities during weekly meetings. The Club normally plays an active role in organizing the B.E.E.P visits and the annual departmental banquet.  The club also arranges student site visits to major corporations in business and industry, and nonprofit organizations.

National Association of Black Accountants (N.A.B.A)
N.A.B.A is a nationwide professional association with the primary purpose of developing, encouraging and serving as a resource for greater participation by African-Americans and other minorities in the accounting and finance professions. N.A.B.A’s mission is executed at the national and local levels.  Competitive scholarships are awarded to deserving and successful college students to assist in furthering their education.  Over $2.6 million have been awarded since the inception of the association.Regional Student Conferences are held annually at one of the five regions of the US—Central, Eastern, Southern, Southwestern and West Coast.  They focus on career development and placement, as well as preparation for entry into the accounting profession.  At the conferences, students can interview for internships and permanent accounting positions.N.A.B.A has a number of publications to keep students and professionals informed about the business world.  One publication in particular “ACHIEVE” is geared towards accounting students.  It keeps students aware of developing issues related to the accounting and finance world.  ACHIEVE is published three times a year.N.A.B.A also conducts the Accounting Career Awareness Program (ACAP), which is a one-week residency program for high school students interested in a career in business.  It is held at a local college or university, the program introduces students to accounting, finance, economics and management through a focused, undergraduate-level program taught by college faculty and guest lectures from business and government.N.A.B.A is a great organization for students to develop leadership skills, to meet students from other universities, to begin building their network and to meet other accounting professionals.   Employers usually seek out N.A.B.A student members for possible internships and job opportunities at conferences and conventions.  N.A.B.A also offers various scholarships opportunities to its student members.Accounting faculty and students from the department of Economics and Business Administration fully participate in the N.A.B.A program activities and initiatives.  Also, graduating seniors who scholastically distinguish themselves in the department’s accounting major are presented with a NABA award.

Sigma Beta Delta
The Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society for students in business, management, and administration serves institutions that offer baccalaureate and graduate degrees in business, management, and administration where the institution holds institutional accreditation from one of the regional accrediting bodies but not specialized accreditation in business. Annually, the Department of Economics and Business Administration invites students with GPAs above 3.3 at the undergraduate level and 3.75 at the graduate level to apply for induction into the Society. Students whose applications are accepted are formally inducted in a ceremony which is conducted at the end of the University’s spring semester. (For more information, check the website at

Students In Free Enterprise (S.I.F.E)
S.I.F.E is a global, non-profit organization that is literally changing the world through highly dedicated student teams on more than 1600 university campuses in 40 countries. S.I.F.E offers these students the opportunity to develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills through learning, practicing and teaching the principles of free enterprise, thereby improving the standard of living for millions in the process. Guided by distinguished faculty advisors and supported by businesses around the globe, S.I.F.E Teams teach important concepts through educational outreach projects, including market economics, entrepreneurship, personal and financial success, and business ethics to better themselves, their communities and their countries. Each year, S.I.F.E competitions are held worldwide, drawing together thousands of students and business leaders to pay tribute to these extraordinary educational outreach projects.Each year, students from the Department of Economics and Business Administration actively participate in the S.I.F.E program.  And over the years, the department’s students have performed impressively. In the years the 1998 through 2003, Lincoln’s students won the first prize at the regional competition in Philadelphia.  Also, in 2003 students won third prize at the national conference in Kansas City. Summer Transportation Institute (S.T.I.) 
The Summer Transportation Institute (S.T.I) is a four-week program that introduces 8th, 9th, and 10th grade students from Pennsylvania and neighboring states to the transportation industry. It is an educational initiative that involves a partnership between the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Division Office in the state, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (Penn DOT), private corporations, and Lincoln University. The S.T.I program that began in 1999 offers participants early exposure to career alternatives in transportation, and opportunities to engage in activities that are both educational and recreational. The program has been running successfully since 1999. It is scheduled to start from the first working day after July 4th

OIC International, Inc.
A ten-week intensive training that helps you to acquire practical skills for a successful start into the international development industry. For college juniors, seniors and recent graduates with a strong interest in international development and are seriously considering a career in the field. A unique opportunity that brings out your talents and sharpens your understanding and knowledge of poverty and solutions to poverty. A wonderful opportunity to meet peers from different academic backgrounds. Two training cycles this academic year to be held in Center City Philadelphia Tuesday Evenings, 6-9 pm.
