The
Pre-Nursing Program is designed to prepare students to enter a Bachelor of Science
in Nursing (BSN) Program. Under this program, students spend two years at Lincoln
and then transfer to a college or university that has the BSN Program. At Lincoln,
the students take the non-nursing courses that are required by the nursing programs.
It
is strongly recommended that students in this program contact the nursing school
they wish to attend to determine the courses that should be taken at Lincoln in
preparation for the transfer to that school. Different nursing programs have different
requirements, and we will work with students to design a program that meets those
requirements. A typical student in the Pre-Nursing Program will take the
following courses: Biology
103 and 104 - General Biology Biology 205 and 206 - Anatomy and Physiology
Biology 207 - Microbiology Chemistry 101 and 102 - General Chemistry English
102 and 103 - English Composition English 207 and 208 - World Literature Sociology
