WEEK OF July 10-16, 2005

DUES: The magic number again is 400 regular dues paying members. (2004-2005) We hope that you will continue to support the Alumni Association with your annual dues. To date we have 77 regular dues paid members, 24 (2005-06) 2 paid subscribing members this year, 99 subscribing members, 341 Life Members of the Association. We need 323 more dedicated alumni to pay dues for 2004-05. Please contact a classmate and ask them to do join you in paying their dues for this year.

EACH ONE - REACH ONE. The financial survival of our association depends solely on dues. This is very important so that we can continue to serve your interests and Lincoln University.

Dear Lions and Lioness - The soul survival of the Alumni Association depends on your support both in-kind and financially. Please check to see if you are paid to date with your annual dues of $35.00. We need you now more than ever to support your alumni association. Stop what you are doing right now and write that check to support our activities. Send your kind donation to AALU P.O. ANNUAL ALUMNI PICNIC & GOLF TOURNAMENT - The Annual Alumni Picnic will be held on the main campus Saturday, July 16, 2005. Please plan to come out and enjoy yourself with your family and friends. The festivities begin at noon until dusk. The Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, July 15, 2005 at the Wyncote Golf Club beginning at 12 noon. The Golf Club is located at 50 Wyncote Drive, Oxford, Pa. The fee is $175.00. Please contact Andre Dixon - Director of Corporate, Foundation and Community Relations @ 610-932-1231 or call the office of Alumni Relations. Registration deadline is July 8, 2005.

ANNUAL FRIENDS OF FARRELL ALUMNI AWARD - The Third Annual Friends of Farrell Alumni Award will be presented to Dr. Abdulalim Shabazz '49 at the annual picnic. This award is named after Dr. H. Alfred Farrell '34 - Executive Secretary Emeritus and long time supporter of Lincoln University and the Alumni Association. This years' recipient is Dr. Abdualim Shabazz '49 - the only Distinguished Professor status professor on the staff of Lincoln University. Because of Dr. Shabazz's unselfish acts and constant support of the university and the alumni association affords him to be our recipient of this year's FOF Alumni Award.
