Grant Writing Workshop To be held January 29th to 31st, 2001.

This two-day hands on workshop will offer participants the opportunity to develop a proposal on a topic of their choice. Participants will receive group and personal instruction from the instructors. Each participant will have access to a computer with Internet access. The seminar will cover the following topic areas.

• Using the Internet to find information and data
• Development of the problem/needs statement
• Development of goals and objectives
• Constructing the methodology and evaluation
• Budget and budget narrative development.

Each participant will develop at a minimum a detailed outline of a complete proposal including: the letter of intent, executive summary, need statement, goals/objectives, methodology, evaluation, future funding, budget and budget narrative.
