All “LIONS” To The Floor:
Help
Spread The News About "1854"!
Dear Fellow Alumni:
This message goes
out to all of you, both “Old School” & “New
School” alike and to those of you, fresh out of the gates! Here’s
another chance for you to show off your “Lincoln Pride”
and support your Alma Mater.
From time to time,
the Admissions Office will receive requests from all across the country,
to have the University attend college fairs, seminars and workshops.
We even get calls from alumni telling us about recruitment opportunities
in their areas. Yet, between our travel schedules and other office
commitments, we are not always able to be present at every event.
But, that is where you come in and help save the day! Very simply,
we need volunteers to be a part of our “Loyal Lion Connection”
and represent Lincoln University at these programs.
To register for
this process, all you will need to do is complete the Registration
Form below and send it back to our office. The link can be accessed
from either the Admissions Office Web Page or the Alumni Relations
Office Web Page. Once we have received your info and you have agreed
to become a Loyal Lion (Alumni Representative), our office will post
the Travel/Recruitment Schedule which will include the college fairs
/ high school programs that need to be “covered” by alums.
We ask that you choose one or more of the programs that you can assist
us with and we will mail to you all of the required materials. If
you know of an upcoming program that you would like to cover or just
make us aware of, feel free to send the flyer, invitation or announcement
(we require official notification), by fax to (484) – 365 –
8109 or by email to barber@lincoln.edu
so that we can enter it into our database. Please understand that
the more advanced the notice is, the better we can plan for the program
and/or get the materials to you in a timely manner.
The only requirements
that you need to handle this project are love and dedication: you
already have the other basics down……you graduated from
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY! Plus, you KNOW the history AND you CAN do the
math! Naturally we will include a packet of information that will
give you a script and other background details that will make you
stand out amongst the other recruiters.
The Lincoln University
Admissions Office sincerely appreciates your commitment to keeping
your Alma Mater number one! We look forward to working with you and
please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.
Yours truly,
Mr. William M. Barber – Class of 1974
Assistant Director of Admissions
